Will my child need to wear a mask?

No, your child will be in a bubble of no more than 15 students and will not mix with any other children. Masks must be worn if you travel on public transport, we recommend walking or cycling to school.

Will your staff wear masks and PPE?

Staff will wear masks/visors during classes. Government guidance published on 20th August 2020 states:

The majority of staff in OOSS will not require PPE beyond what they would normally need for their work. PPE is only needed in a very small number of cases:

  • children, young people and learners whose care routinely already involves the use of PPE due to their intimate care needs should continue to receive their care in the same way

  • PPE should be worn if a distance of 2 metres cannot be maintained from any child, young person or other learner displaying coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms

How should I collect my child?

Following your booking, you will be given instructions on where to collect your child. If you are running late, please let us know.

Will there be singing, shouting or chanting during your classes?

Rehearsals for the October 2021 musical will take place in the downstairs studio following the latest guidance for singing in groups. Other classes will not contain singing for now.
